June 23-27, 2021    Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

Officially sanctioned by the World Billfish Series and a qualifying event for the IGFA World Championship Circuit, the ECBC attracts anglers of all skill levels. In 2016, we had 85 Teams, 628 Anglers, $1,952,750 in Cash Awards. In 2017, we had Tropical Storm Cindy which left us with a solid team of 36 boaters and $624,625 in Cash Awards! Fast forward to present, 2018 we had 91 boats participate, over 600 individuals, and over $2,040,000 in purse money awarded to our winners! 2019, its full speed ahead to surpass those records!

July 4, 2021  City of Destin Fireworks

July 10, 2021   Blue Angels Pensacola Beach Air Show

The RED WHITE & BLUES Pensacola Beach Air Show 2021 featuring the Blue Angels will be held on Saturday, July 10. Locals and visitors from all over look forward to the annual Pensacola Beach Air Show held in the summer. The show highlights Pensacola hometown heroes — the Blue Angels — the U. S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Blues hold several practice sessions along the beach in the days leading up to the big event on show day.

August 12-14, 2021   Emerald Coast Poker Run & Boat Week

Boat Week events start with a bang Wednesday night, and continue to “The Big One” Poker Run party Saturday night. It is truly a week of excitement, boating, fun, and helping kids.

October 1-31, 2021   Destin Fishing Rodeo

The Destin Fishing Rodeo began in May of 1948 to bring people to Destin. It worked! Destin shortly became known as a summer tourist destination and “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”.  The Destin Fishing Rodeo is the ultimate fishing tournament for salt water anglers of all ages.  The Rodeo founders, people such as Howard Marler, Jewel Melvin and Willie Marler, decided that moving the Rodeo to October would lengthen the tourist season another month. Today the Rodeo is held October 1- 31.

October 1-3, 2021    Destin Seafood Festival

43rd Annual Destin Seafood Festival hosted on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Free, family friendly event, shopping, music, and TONS OF DELICIOUS FOOD!!!
